Field Application Engineer - High Speed Internet

Position: Field Application Engineer (FAE) – High-Speed Ethernet

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

Our client, a global leader in network test and measurement solutions, is seeking a talented Field Application Engineer (FAE) to support customers developing next-generation high-speed networking technologies. This role will work closely with customers, R&D teams, and sales to deliver technical expertise and application support for advanced Ethernet solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers for high-speed networking solutions and Ethernet testing platforms.
• Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution recommendations.
• Support customers in the development, testing, and validation of high-speed Ethernet technologies.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions during product integration and deployment.
• Act as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams.
• Conduct technical training sessions and workshops for customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in networking, telecom, or high-speed connectivity technologies.
• Familiarity with IEEE standards for high-speed Ethernet protocols, including 400G / 800G / 1.6T Ethernet.
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet testing, network validation, or high-speed communication systems is preferred.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work directly with engineering teams and customers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent English communication skills are required, both written and spoken.

Preferred Background

• Experience working with network equipment vendors, semiconductor companies, or test and measurement solution providers.
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, SerDes, or optical networking technologies.
