Head of UX / UI Design (m/f/d)

As Head of UX / UI Design, you will shape how our products feel, look and work across multiple countries, brands and touchpoints.

This is a strategic leadership role with real influence on product direction, customer experience and design culture.

Your mission – impactful & hands-on

• Own the User Experience and Visual Design strategy across all digital products and services

• Develop and implement a company-wide UX vision and culture

• Define and measure KPIs to evaluate design effectiveness and business impact

• Lead the end-to-end design process (research, empathy, ideation, prototyping, testing, final UI)

• Continuously improve design workflows, standards and collaboration models

• Embed Design Thinking principles throughout cross-functional teams

• Build, evolve and scale a global design system to ensure consistency, usability and scalability

• Hire, mentor and develop a high-performing design team

Your profile – expertise & mindset

• 5+ years leading end-to-end UX / UI design processes

• 3+ years building and managing design teams

• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital product design excellence

• Expert knowledge of tools like Figma, Sketch, Maze or comparable software

• Experience running user research and testing programs with actionable outcomes

• Proven track record implementing Design Thinking methodologies

• Experience scaling design systems in complex environments

• Excellent communication skills in English (German and/or French is a plus)

• Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on attitude
