Our client is a leading international food business with a strong presence across Asia. They are seeking a commercially driven Country Manager to lead the Taiwan business and drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term market development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the overall business, with full accountability for commercial performance, profitability, and strategic growth.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies to drive revenue, market share, and customer engagement.
  • Own the P&L and oversee budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and financial performance management.
  • Lead cross-functional functions including Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing to ensure operational excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive strategic initiatives to support sustainable growth.
  • Enhance operational efficiency, organizational capability, and business performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a boutique, high-performing team while fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Act as the key leader of the local business and a trusted partner to regional stakeholders.
 
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a General Manager, Country Manager, Commercial Director, Business Unit Head, or equivalent senior leadership role.
  • Strong track record of driving business growth, profitability, and market expansion with full P&L ownership.
  • Essential experience within Agriculture, Fresh Produce, Food Importation, Food Distribution, Food Solutions, and Food & Beverage related food sectors.
  • Strong understanding of food supply chains, import/export operations, customer management, and route-to-market strategies.
  • Experience leading cross-functional functions including Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and Operations.
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, pricing, and business performance management.
  • Proven ability to build high-performing teams and drive organizational success.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills within a multinational environment.
  • Existing Commercial Heads, Country Managers, General Managers, and market-leading professionals are highly welcomed.
  • Native in Mandarin and business-level English.
