Job Title: Finance Manager – Transformation

Location: Hong Kong

Overview

We are seeking a Finance Transformation leader to drive finance transformation initiatives in Hong Kong. This role focuses on improving finance processes, enhancing reporting and governance, and supporting end-to-end change programmes that strengthen control, efficiency, and decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have strong finance transformation experience (process optimisation, automation, target operating model, KPI/reporting redesign), excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead structured projects in a regulated and complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Transformation Programme Leadership:
  Lead and manage finance transformation workstreams, ensuring clear scope, milestones, and delivery against timelines.

• Finance Process Improvement:
  Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes (e.g., close, planning, budgeting, forecasting, cost management, AP/AR as applicable) and drive sustainable improvements.

• Operating Model & Governance Enhancement:
  Support the design and implementation of finance governance, controls, roles & responsibilities, and operating rhythm.

• Reporting, Analytics & Performance Management:
  Improve management reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics to support senior leadership decision-making.

• Systems & Automation Support (as applicable):
  Partner with IT/Finance Systems teams to implement or enhance finance systems/workflows, contributing to requirements definition and adoption.

• Stakeholder Management & Change Enablement:
  Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance leadership, business units, internal controls, IT, and external partners as required) to drive alignment and adoption.

• Project Planning & Delivery:
  Own project plans, risk management, governance forums, and action tracking; prepare and present updates to senior management.

• Business Case & Value Tracking:
  Support development of business cases for transformation initiatives and track benefits realisation (cost, cycle time, quality, control).

• Compliance & Internal Controls:
  Ensure transformation activities are delivered in line with internal policies and relevant regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  Typically 6+ years in finance transformation, FP&A transformation, finance operations, or consulting with a focus on finance process improvement and reporting/controls.

• Transformation Expertise:
  Demonstrated experience delivering finance transformation projects (process redesign, standardisation, automation, target operating model).

• Financial Acumen:
  Strong understanding of finance operations, management reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and internal controls.

• Project Management:
  Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver outcomes using structured project management methods.

• Communication Skills:
  Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Cantonese/Mandarin is an advantage.

• Systems & Tools:
  Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience with ERP/finance systems and workflow tools is preferred.

• Qualifications (Preferred):
  Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent is preferred.
