Freelance Accounting & Tax Officer

Our client, an international industrial group is looking for a Frelance Accounting & Tax Officer for a temporary assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review and monitor financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards
• Perform financial analysis and produce reporting documents for management 
• Support the review and follow-up of tax declarations, VAT in collaboration with external advisors
• Ensure compliance with local tax and accounting regulations and monitor regulatory updates
• Provide guidance on the financial and tax impact of business decisions
• Contribute to internal and external audit processes by preparing the required documentation and analyses
• Recommend improvements regarding accounting procedures and tax practices
• Coordinate with international entities and outsourced accounting partners to ensure service quality and smooth collaboration
• Work in an international environment involving regular interactions with teams abroad 

Profile:

• Around 10 years of experience in accounting and taxation
• Good knowledge of Belgian and French accounting standards
• Previous experience in an industrial environment is a plus
• Fluency in both French and English
• Strong analytical and communication skills
