The Assignment

For a leading B2B player in the HVAC sector, with a large commercial organisation, we are looking for a senior Interim Commercial Director to assume executive leadership of the commercial organisation.

The mandate is to ensure business continuity, drive commercial performance and provide strong leadership during a transitional period, while preparing the organisation for a successful permanent succession.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume overall leadership and accountability for the commercial organisation and its performance.

• Lead, align and challenge the Sales Management team and broader commercial organisation (±50 FTE).

• Drive revenue growth, profitability, sales effectiveness and execution against business objectives.

• Secure strategic customer relationships and ensure continuity across key accounts.

• Strengthen commercial governance, operating rhythm, KPIs and performance management.

• Assess organisational effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities and implement immediate priorities.

• Ensure a seamless transition towards the permanent commercial leadership structure.

Profile

• 15+ years of senior commercial leadership experience, ideally at Director, VP or CCO level.

• Proven track record in leading sizeable B2B commercial organisations with excellent people management skills.

• Strong business acumen, with demonstrated ownership of commercial performance and P&L.

• Experience in HVAC, Building Technology, Construction, Technical Distribution or Industrial environments.

• Solid understanding of the Belgian business landscape.

• Highly credible executive presence, combined with a pragmatic, hands-on leadership style.

• Ability to take ownership and deliver impact from day one.

• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
