Junior Business Finance Controller

We are looking for a Junior Business Finance Controller to join a Global FMCG Company in Madrid, Spain. You will play a key role in ensuring financial performance, transparency, and control, partnering closely with business teams to support decision-making in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes in line with global guidelines.

• Analyze financial performance (P&L, variances, KPIs) and provide actionable insights to management.

• Monitor costs, margins, and profitability across brands and channels.

• Support business cases for new product launches and strategic initiatives.

• Ensure accurate monthly closings and compliance with internal controls and reporting standards.

• Collaborate closely with Commercial, Marketing, and Operations teams to drive financial efficiency.

• Coordinate with international and regional finance teams to align reporting and processes.

• Manage financial risks and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.

• 2 -3 years of experience in Controlling or Finance, ideally within FMCG or a multinational environment.

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

• Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.

• Fluent in English; highly organized, proactive, and business-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills.
