MAINTENANCE ENGINEER MANAGER

We are recruiting this role for Almirall, a leading global pharmaceutical company focused on medical dermatology, committed to operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

🚀 Mission

Ensure the correct operation and high availability of production equipment by leading preventive maintenance plans, supporting complex repairs and improvements, and driving continuous improvement within the manufacturing plant.

🔑 What you’ll do

• Define and oversee the preventive maintenance plan, ensuring quality and on‑time execution
• Support the operational team in complex repairs, machinery changes, and improvements
• Analyze equipment performance data to improve availability and reliability
• Manage maintenance documentation and ensure GMP compliance
• Coordinate machinery improvements, upgrades, and change controls
• Oversee calibration plans and execution for production equipment
• Lead and coordinate the maintenance team, fostering collaboration and performance
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Actively promote continuous improvement and Lean practices

🧠 What you bring

• University degree in Engineering or similar technical field
• Experience in maintenance management within industrial or pharmaceutical environments
• Knowledge of GMP regulations, industrial safety, and machinery maintenance
• Proven team leadership experience
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• High level of English
• Continuous improvement / Lean mindset
