Sr. Global Sourcing Manager (EE)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing activities for electronic and electrical-related categories within a global technology and manufacturing environment.

This role will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing key supplier relationships, leading commercial negotiations, driving cost and supply optimization, and ensuring supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost and risk management. The position will also work closely with cross-functional teams throughout product development and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category strategies for electronic and electrical-related components.
• Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, commercial terms, payment terms, quality requirements, delivery commitments and contractual risks.
• Analyze spend, cost structures and market trends to identify and implement cost optimization opportunities.
• Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships and evaluate supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery and service.
• Identify potential supply chain and supplier risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure supply continuity.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to drive quality improvement and corrective actions when required.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Product Development, Operations, Quality and Logistics teams to support sourcing activities from development through production.
• Support responsible and sustainable sourcing practices across the supplier base.
• Lead complex sourcing initiatives and provide direction and guidance to sourcing team members.

Qualifications & Experience

• Solid experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or supplier management, with relevant exposure to electronic / electrical components.
• Experience within electronics, technology, manufacturing or related industries is preferred.
• Strong track record in supplier development, supplier management and commercial negotiation.
• Good understanding of global sourcing, procurement processes and international supply chains.
• Strong capability in cost analysis, cost optimization and supplier performance management.
• Experience working with Engineering, Product Development and other cross-functional teams on complex sourcing projects.
• Good understanding of supplier risk, quality and supply continuity management.
• Exposure to sustainability or responsible sourcing practices is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in team leadership or people management is preferred.
