This role is responsible for overseeing factory financial operations, including cost management, product costing, and profitability analysis. The position will partner closely with plant leadership to support decision-making on strategy, forecasting, investment, and productivity, while ensuring strong financial governance and performance management across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a key finance partner to the Plant Director and leadership team, providing insights to support strategic decisions, long-term planning, and investment evaluation
  • Lead factory financial planning and forecasting processes (including Capex and depreciation), and oversee management reporting, performance analysis, and financial reviews
  • Own factory-level financial performance, including P&L and cash flow, identifying risks and opportunities and providing actionable recommendations
  • Support operational efficiency and value improvement initiatives through cost analysis, profitability assessment, and financial modeling for new products and cost-saving projects
  • Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with corporate policies, while driving cost discipline and financial transparency across manufacturing operations
  • Oversee monthly and year-end closing processes, including accruals, product costing (e.g., BOM), and pricing mechanisms; analyze key variances and performance drivers
  • Collaborate with shared service teams and external finance support functions to resolve system or accounting-related issues and improve overall processes

Job Specifications / Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional accounting qualification is a plus

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing finance or plant accounting
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial analysis or business partnering roles

Skills

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to present financial insights clearly and effectively
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally within a fast-paced environment
