Business AI Transformation

We are conducting a search on behalf of a global tech company with operations across Europe and North America. This is a newly created senior role with direct exposure to the leadership team and real scope to shape how a high-growth organisation operates in the AI era.

We are looking for someone who sits at the intersection of business transformation, intelligent systems, and AI — and who has actually delivered, not just advised.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This person will work alongside the company's Transformation Director as their primary strategic and operational partner. You will own complex, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition to delivery — with no blueprint and no hand-holding.

The company is already ahead of most on AI adoption. They are not asking 'should we use AI?' — they are asking 'how do we make it part of how we actually work?' That is the question you will help answer.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead end-to-end transformation programmes across business systems — from diagnosis and architecture to implementation and adoption.
• Define and build the company's data platform strategy from the ground up, creating a single, reliable foundation for analytics, reporting, and AI applications.
• Design and deploy real AI use cases — agents, automation, intelligent workflows — that change how teams operate. Not proofs of concept. Production.
• Rationalise and modernise a fragmented technology landscape: fewer tools, better integration, less complexity.
• Act as a trusted partner to senior business leaders across Finance, Operations, HR, Marketing, and IT — translating business problems into scalable, long-lasting solutions.
• Establish pragmatic governance standards that enable speed without creating future debt.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Your background:

• Proven track record leading complex technology or business transformation programmes in fast-moving, international environments.
• Hands-on experience designing or building modern data platforms (Azure-based environments a strong plus — MS Fabric, Synapse or equivalent).
• Genuine, practical knowledge of AI and GenAI implementation: LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic workflows, governance frameworks. You have shipped something real.
• Strong command of integration patterns, API design, and enterprise systems ecosystems (ERP, CRM, ITSM and similar).
• Experience engaging credibly with C-suite and senior functional leaders — not just presenting, but influencing decisions.

How you work:

• You think in systems but act with pragmatism. Strategy without execution is noise to you.
• You communicate with clarity across all levels — as comfortable in a technical design session as in a board update.
• You have an entrepreneurial streak: you build things, you figure things out, you do not wait to be told how.
• You have lived or worked internationally and operate naturally in English as your primary working language.
• You bring curiosity and genuine enthusiasm for what AI is making possible — not as a trend, but as a practical lens on how work gets done.
