From Morgan Philips Outsourcing we are looking for a Lawyer for one of our clients, one of Europe’s leading low-cost airlines based in Barcelona.
Tasks & responsibilities
The Lawyer in this team is responsible for Drafting, reviewing and managing a wide range of commercial agreements. Coordinating execution. Advising on request in relation to contracts. Coordinates with external law firms for review of contracts and complex contractual issues. Provides general advice in legal matters / interpreting applicable laws and contracts. Acts as legal partner to the business.
Requirements
Academic background
A Law degree is essential, with specialization in Civil Law due to the responsibilities in managing passenger claims and regulatory disputes. A basic understanding of GDPR is valued, particularly in how it applies to data handling, cross-border data transfer, and consumer rights in a corporate environment.
Experience
At least 3 years in a law firm or corporate legal department are required, ideally involving hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, contract review, and civil law cases. This experience is essential to develop the legal judgement needed to assess claims, evaluate breaches, and engage with external legal teams.
Skills
High proficiency in English (C1 level or higher) is essential due to frequent interactions with international stakeholders, law firms from other jurisdictions, and the need to prepare legally precise documents in English. Fluency in Spanish is mandatory for internal operations and regulatory compliance within Spain.
