Morgan Philips is partnering with a leading international fiduciary and agency services provider, recognised as one of Europe’s key independent players in its field, to recruit a Senior Transaction Manager.
Our client specialises in bond trustee and independent loan agency services, operating across multiple asset classes and international jurisdictions. As part of their continued growth, they are strengthening their team with a senior professional to manage a complex and international transaction portfolio.
The role
The Senior Transaction Manager will be responsible for managing an international portfolio of syndicated loan agencies, bond trustee and security agent mandates. The role covers the full lifecycle of transactions, from onboarding and pre‑closing support through to monitoring, administration, analysis and reporting, in line with financing agreements and internal procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Review of draft facility agreements, bond issuance documentation and security packages from an agency/trustee and security agent perspective during the pre‑closing phase.
- Management of a domestic and international portfolio of project and infrastructure finance transactions.
- Calculation and verification of amounts payable under facility agreements (drawdowns, fees, interest and principal repayments).
- Setting of interest periods and applicable reference interest rates.
- Loan and bond lifecycle event management, including bookkeeping of transactions.
- Execution of payment instructions related to lifecycle events.
- Management of administrative communications with investors, borrowers and lenders.
- Coordination of consents, waivers and restructuring processes.
- Liaison with third parties such as sponsors, lawyers, auditors, banks and investors.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in project and infrastructure finance, ideally gained within an infrastructure fund, advisory firm, law firm or the middle/front office of a financial institution.
- Strong ownership mindset, excellent work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to prioritise effectively in a multi‑transaction environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and professional judgement.
- Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
