MAKING SUCCESS STORIES HAPPEN

Are you an accomplished Reward professional who thrives at the point where strategic influence meets hands‑on delivery? We are partnering with a global organisation seeking a highly credible, commercially minded Senior Reward Manager to join a small, high‑performing Group Reward function operating at the heart of the business. This is a full-time role with hybrid working - 3 days per week in the office (ideally Tues, Weds, Thurs).

This is a role for someone who has already honed their craft — someone comfortable working directly with senior leaders, navigating complexity with confidence, and providing clear, evidence‑based reward insight. It's also a role for those who are happy to pivot quickly: advising at a strategic level one moment and diving into detailed analysis or benchmarking the next.

Reporting to the Group Reward Director and working closely with the Head of Reward, you will play a pivotal role in delivering the Group Reward strategy across a diverse and evolving business. Your work will focus on supporting Reward delivery for Group functions, providing deep technical expertise, and ensuring compensation remains competitive, coherent and aligned to business needs.

You will also partner with People Business Partners and senior functional leaders, offering trusted guidance on pay, grading, benefits and reward programmes. This is a position where your judgement, influence and analytical rigor will directly shape reward outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert Reward guidance to Group functions, ensuring market‑competitive total compensation and sound decision‑making.
  • Build strong relationships across Business Units, leading the analysis of pay issues, identifying root causes and presenting practical solutions.
  • Lead monthly Reward Network forums with Reward colleagues across the organisation, sharing best practice and enabling alignment.
  • Manage cyclical Reward activities for Group functions, including annual pay and bonus review, coordinating with global counterparts as needed.
  • Oversee benchmarking submissions and deliver clear insights to inform pay and bonus decisions for the UK Group Functions population.
  • Handle complex grading, job evaluation and benchmarking requests with accuracy and commercial sensitivity.
  • Manage the delivery of Group Functions’ benefits, collaborating closely with UK Reward teams and external providers.
  • Champion continuous improvement across Reward processes, enhancing quality, consistency and business impact.
  • Mentor and support more junior team members, acting as a role model within the function.

About You

You will be a confident, experienced Reward professional with a track record of navigating complexity in large, multinational environments, but within a relatively small group function. You bring both the technical mastery and interpersonal credibility needed to influence senior stakeholders while maintaining the flexibility to step into hands‑on work whenever required.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience in Reward, ideally gained in global corporate environments.
  • Strong grounding in compensation principles, external market trends and grading methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Experience partnering across borders and working with diverse leadership teams.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to convey complex information simply and persuasively.
  • Strong project leadership capabilities, with resilience and pragmatism when navigating ambiguity.
  • High proficiency with Excel, HR systems (Workday an advantage), and reward modelling tools.
  • A reputation for sound judgement, professionalism, discretion and building trusted relationships.

This opportunity is ideal for a Reward Manager who has already operated at a high level and enjoys being at the centre an influential Group team. Someone who relishes variety, adapts quickly, and brings both strategic thinking and operational precision — without ego, and with genuine curiosity and drive.

If you are motivated by shaping reward decisions that have real organisational impact, while working in a collaborative, C-suite facing environment, this role offers both challenge and influence in equal measure.
