About the Role

An international company operating in the maritime and offshore sector is seeking an experienced HSE Lead Coordinator to support its activities in Angola.

Reporting to the regional HSE team, the successful candidate will act as the local HSE focal point for offshore and onshore operations, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, supporting operational teams, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary local HSE representative.
• Support the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and initiatives.
• Conduct vessel, site, and facility inspections.
• Participate in incident investigations and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate local medical and emergency response cases when required.
• Prepare HSE reports and presentations for management and clients.
• Provide operational HSE support to offshore and onshore personnel.

Candidate Profile

• Solid HSE experience within offshore, maritime, oil & gas, or industrial environments.
• Hands-on operational experience and strong autonomy.
• Experience in incident investigation and risk management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Languages

• Portuguese: Mandatory
• English: Fluent
• French: An advantage

Additional Information

• Based in Angola with regular travel between operational sites.
