Managing Director – Housing Projects
 
Role Overview:
Reporting full accountability for the Housing (Low-Rise) Business Unit, this role leads the overall business strategy, operational execution, and financial performance across multiple residential developments. The incumbent is responsible for driving sustainable growth, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to quality standards, while maximizing revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Housing / Low-Rise Business Unit, ensuring achievement of business objectives and long-term growth targets.
• Oversee the complete project lifecycle, from planning and feasibility assessment through sales execution, construction management, handover, and property transfer.
• Drive commercial performance across revenue generation, sales achievements, transfer targets, profitability, construction progress, quality standards, and cost control.
• Manage project feasibility studies, budgeting, P&L performance, and overall business results to ensure strong financial returns.
• Lead and align cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Construction, Customer Service, and other key stakeholders, to deliver seamless project execution and customer experience.

 
Ideal Background

• Over 15 years of experience within the real estate development sector, with strong exposure to residential development.
• Demonstrated expertise in Housing / Low-Rise projects and a solid understanding of the end-to-end development process.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in senior management positions such as Business Unit Head, Project Director, Business Director, or Managing Director.
• Proven success managing residential developments throughout the full project cycle, from sales launch and construction delivery to ownership transfer.
• Strong commercial acumen with deep experience in P&L management, project execution, business planning, and team leadership.
• Experience overseeing multiple residential projects simultaneously would be highly advantageous.
