Assistant Accounting Manager

We are partnering with a prestigious global luxury retail company to identify an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join its Hong Kong finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial closing, management reporting, and performance analysis.

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business decision-making.

• Partner with retail and operational stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.

• Analyze sales, margins, operating expenses, and business performance trends.

• Support inventory planning, cost control, and profitability analysis.

• Assist with audit, compliance, and internal control requirements.

• Drive process improvement initiatives and support system enhancement projects.

• Prepare ad hoc analyses and management presentations for senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification preferred.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or commercial finance.

• Retail, luxury retail, consumer products, FMCG, or distribution experience is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms is advantageous.

• Proficient in Excel and financial reporting tools.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with stakeholders across different functions.

• Fluency in English and Cantonese required; Mandarin is an advantage.
