Key Responsibilities

• Product Development:
  Lead the formulation and development of new wet pet food products, ensuring they meet nutritional standards and consumer expectations.

• Research and Innovation:
  Conduct research on ingredient functionality, nutritional benefits, and trends in pet food to inform product development strategies.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on product goals and timelines.

• Quality Control:
  Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the product development process.

• Consumer Insights:
  Utilize market research and consumer insights to guide product development and identify opportunities for innovation.

• Project Management:
  Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of product development milestones and adherence to project budgets.

• Technical Documentation:
  Prepare detailed technical documentation and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Animal Nutrition, Biochemistry, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certifications are preferred.

• Experience:
  5+ years of experience in product development within the pet food or food industry, with specific expertise in wet formulations.

• Technical Skills:
  Strong understanding of food formulation, processing technology, and nutritional science as it pertains to pet food.

• Analytical Skills:
  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

• Communication Skills:
  Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
