Head of Quarry

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of both long-term and short-term quarry strategies, ensuring sustainable operations that align with overall company objectives.
• Develop and implement quarry policies, strategies, and operational plans to meet production, quality, cost, safety, and efficiency targets.
• Manage all aspects of quarry operations, guaranteeing long-term availability of limestone and shale resources while maintaining material quality standards.
• Maintain a stable supply of raw materials and proactively address risks related to quality fluctuations and material shortages.
• Ensure full compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as all relevant legal standards.
• Make informed decisions regarding quarry performance, resource planning, and operational strategy that drive the success of the division.
• Lead and mentor the quarry management team, fostering a culture of growth through effective leadership, coaching, training, and team development.
• Monitor quarry and production performance metrics, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee mine planning, raw material management, and resource optimization to ensure sustainable operational practices.
• Identify and manage operational and business risks, developing and executing mitigation plans in response to potential challenges.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in quarry, mining, or related operations, with demonstrable management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of quarry operations, mine planning, raw material management, risk management, and cement manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in mine planning software such as SURPAC, with hands-on experience preferred.
• Strong strategic thinker with the capability to translate business needs into actionable operational and production plans.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven leadership abilities with a strong focus on people management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
• Fluency in both Thai and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
