Key Responsibilities

• Financial Leadership:

  Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and monitoring performance against budgeted targets.

• Reporting and Analysis:
  Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, analyzing variances and providing actionable insights for performance improvement.

• Risk Management:
  Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

• Team Development:
  Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in financial practices.

• Collaboration:
  Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and sales, to ensure financial alignment and support strategic initiatives.

• Process Improvement:

Qualifications

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is preferred.

• Experience:
  7+ years of finance management experience, preferably in the consumer goods or beauty industry, with a proven track record of driving financial performance.

• Analytical Skills:
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.

• Communication Skills:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Japanese, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Leadership Skills:
  Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing finance teams.

• Technical Proficiency:
  Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), with strong data analysis skills.
