Sustainability Data System Process Analyst

Working Location: Kai Tak, Kowloon

Overview:

This project-based role is the key analytical resource to support the Sustainability Data System (SDS) implementation to ensure successful Day 1 launch and post-implementation enhancement by analyzing and documenting business processes, aligning them with system functionality, conducting system testing and developing UAT test plan to ensure readiness and usability.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage Process Owners to map “as-is” and “to-be” processes; analyze business requirements and align them with system capabilities

• Manage process to define Day 1 functional requirements and system enhancement specifications

• Lead and prepare internal testing and support UAT preparation; develop test cases, document results and system limitations

• Manage vendor and Digital SME to validate system features

• Develop process documentation and fit-gap analysis

• Recommend enhancements or workarounds for system limitations

• Lead and support management of vendor to update system manuals and guides for user training

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a demonstrable focus on business process analysis, mapping, and re-engineering to optimize system functionality within large, complex organizations

• Extensive experience in developing, organizing, and executing comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans for enterprise-level systems

• Demonstrated ability to validate all core system functions, with a meticulous focus on data integrity, calculation accuracy and reporting outputs

• Knowledge in data management practices, including data governance and data quality validation

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration in complex programme structures with multiple workstreams and third-party suppliers

• Knowledge in sustainability themes (e.g., environmental, greenhouse gases emission, health & safety, energy transition) is a plus

• Understanding in ERP or ESG data systems is a bonus

Technical / Functional Competencies:

• Relevant and recognized University degree in business, finance, science, engineering, or environmental/ sustainability-related program of studies

• Professional qualifications in project management or engineering preferred

• Systematically manages plans, deliverables and risks
