Our client, a well‑established and fast‑growing Asset Management Company based in Luxembourg, is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to strengthen its local governance and regulatory framework. The position sits within a dynamic environment where professionalism, autonomy, and high standards are expected.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Conduct due‑diligence reviews on new and existing business partners and assets in line with regulatory requirements.
• Support the Compliance Officer‑in‑Charge in implementing the firmwide compliance risk management framework.
• Contribute to the maintenance, enhancement, and operationalisation of the Compliance function’s written policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing and executing AML/CFT risk assessments to identify potential areas of exposure.
• Monitor and interpret new legal and regulatory obligations, assessing their impact on the organisation.
• Oversee and continuously improve control activities as per the control plan, ensuring alignment with governance and regulatory expectations.
• Advise senior management and internal teams on compliance matters and provide expertise on ongoing projects.
• Support the automation and digitalisation of compliance processes to enhance efficiency and data quality.
Profile
The ideal candidate brings:
• A university degree in Economics, Law, Political Science, or a related field.
• Experience in Luxembourg in Compliance within a ManCo/AIFM or a compliance‑related advisory environment, with strong AML/CFT focus.
• Solid knowledge of KYC, AML, and investment fund regulatory frameworks.
• Fluency in German and English required; additional languages are an asset.
• Strong command of professional screening and research tools
• A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously.
