We are seeking an experienced Director to join the Luxembourg office of a leading asset management firm specialized in private equity. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep expertise in alternative investment structures and strong technical knowledge across accounting, transactions, risk, and tax.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial management and governance of Luxembourg entities, ensuring accurate accounting, statutory reporting, audits, and regulatory filings.
- Manage relationships with external service providers (administrators, AIFM, auditors, legal and tax advisors) to ensure quality and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance on Luxembourg accounting standards and financial reporting.
- Support investment and transaction execution, including review of fund flows, legal documentation, and structuring aspects.
- Ensure tax compliance and reporting for Luxembourg entities, coordinating with external advisors.
- Act as board representative for Luxembourg investment holding companies, ensuring strong governance.
- Lead and develop the local finance and operations team, driving process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on financial, operational, and strategic matters.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Luxembourg is mandatory.
- Minimum 12 years’ post-qualification experience in private equity or alternative investment firms.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent), ideally with Big 4 background.
- Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP and Luxembourg regulatory framework; familiarity with AIFMD and related compliance obligations preferred.
- Proven experience in transaction structuring, deal execution, and cross-border operations.
- Solid understanding of Luxembourg corporate taxation, VAT, transfer pricing, and substance requirements.
- Exposure to alternative asset strategies (private equity, real estate, credit) and related structures.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage teams and external providers.
- Fluency in English required; French or another European language is an asset.
- Commercial mindset with strategic outlook and attention to detail.
- High integrity, professionalism, and ability to thrive in a demanding environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable in a multi-jurisdictional setting.
