Our client, headquartered in the United Kingdom and with a growing presence in Luxembourg, is seeking a Fund Controller F/M to strengthen their Luxembourg office.
As one of the largest asset managers in its sector by assets under management, the firm offers a dynamic, high-performing environment.
The Fund Controller will be responsible for the financial oversight, accounting, reporting, and operational control of private credit
funds and related investment vehicles. The role partners closely with Investment, Investor Relations, Operations, Treasury, Tax, Compliance, and external service providers.
Your Responsibilities
- Review NAV calculations and financial statements prepared by the administrators and financial statements
- Deliver accurate investor and internal reporting to tight, recurring deadlines, overseeing outputs from the fund administrator
- Prepare investor reporting and capital activity reporting
- Support regulatory, tax, and compliance obligations
- Manage relationships with auditors, administrators, and other service providers
- Work with the Investor Relations team to prepare / review fund investor reporting
- Prepare and manage Fund cash forecasting and related fund drawdown and distribution requirements
- Oversee fund regulatory and tax reporting
- Utilise advanced technology skills and data management, to automate financial processes and develop data-driven insights
- Develop and maintain robust fund financial reporting dashboards, providing insights to key stakeholders
- Reconcile fund performance to forecast
- Drive automation, dashboards and process improvement across the function
- Chartered Accountant qualification (e.g. ACCA) or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of experience in fund accounting or controlling, with private debt or real estate funds experience.
- Experience in Luxembourg required
- Strong knowledge of fund operations, structures, and reporting standards
- Proven ability to think critically and manage complex processes independently
- Skilled in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Hands-on, adaptable, and motivated by working in a growing and international setup
- Fluent in English; French is a plus
