Morgan Philips Executive Search is looking for a Marketing Grouper for Branded Generics for one of its pharmaceutical clients based in Mexico. This role will be responsible for leading the strategic marketing direction, portfolio management, and commercial growth of the branded generics business, driving competitive performance and cross‑functional collaboration within a dynamic and highly regulated environment.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical ability, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market—particularly the dynamics of branded generics.
Strategic Portfolio Management
- Develop and implement the annual marketing plan for the branded generics portfolio.
- Lead brand strategy, positioning, and differentiation in highly competitive markets.
- Identify portfolio expansion opportunities, including new product launches, line extensions, and lifecycle management strategies.
- Conduct market, competitive, and pricing analyses to optimize portfolio performance.
Brand & Marketing Execution
- Oversee development of promotional materials, campaigns, and digital/omnichannel marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate with medical, regulatory, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure timely execution of brand plans.
- Monitor brand performance and adjust strategies based on KPIs, market trends, and commercial outcomes.
Cross-functional Leadership
- Partner with Sales to support field-force effectiveness, training, and customer engagement tools.
- Collaborate with Market Access to secure pricing strategies, tenders, and reimbursement opportunities.
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with local regulations, ethical standards, and company policies.
Financial Accountability
- Manage P&L and budget allocation for the assigned portfolio.
- Forecast demand and contribute to S&OP processes.
- Ensure achievement of revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
