Overview
This senior executive role oversees regional operations for a major property development organization. The position is responsible for steering business growth, ensuring successful delivery of large-scale development projects, driving commercial performance, and providing strategic leadership across sales, marketing, project development, and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership for regional business growth
Drive overall strategy across sales, marketing, and diverse development portfolios, ensuring strong commercial performance and sustainable business expansion.
• Evaluate and assess new development opportunities
Collaborate with land and property teams to analyze project feasibility, design mixes, cost structures, timelines, and market positioning.
• Ensure regulatory and planning compliance
Review zoning guidelines, planning requirements, and relevant regulations to determine development parameters and assess project viability.
• Oversee budgeting and project scheduling
Develop and manage comprehensive financial plans and timelines to ensure operational objectives, profitability, and performance targets are met.
• Lead and manage consultants and contractors
Supervise engineering, architectural, and construction partners to ensure project delivery is timely, cost-efficient, and aligned with quality standards.
• Drive sales and marketing performance
Lead planning and execution of sales and marketing initiatives, budget management, and performance tracking to meet sales targets.
• Coordinate full lifecycle due diligence and approvals
Manage rezoning, site plan approvals, permits, environmental assessments, and compliance processes, engaging relevant authorities and stakeholders.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
• Relevant tertiary education with advanced qualifications preferred
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, development, or related fields; postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA offer an added advantage.
• 15+ years of property development experience
Demonstrated leadership in overseeing major residential, township, or high-rise projects, with at least five years in a senior operational role.
• Proven end‑to‑end project and commercial management experience
Strong background in sales, marketing, and delivering large-scale developments from concept to completion.
• Strong commercial, financial, and regulatory understanding
Expertise in feasibility studies, financial planning, budgeting, and navigating local approval and compliance procedures.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to lead diverse teams, manage high-level stakeholders, and operate effectively in fast-paced, complex environments.
