Your Responsibilities
As the Head of Quality, you will spearhead the development and execution of an overarching quality strategy that aligns with your client’s corporate goals and regulatory requirements across all manufacturing plants. You will provide strategic leadership for the Quality Assurance (QA) department, ensuring the implementation and ongoing improvement of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with standards such as ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and MDR.
Key responsibilities include overseeing QA performance metrics, enforcing corrective and preventive actions, and facilitating readiness for regulatory inspections and customer audits. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to integrate quality objectives into strategic planning and drive cross-functional initiatives for continuous improvement. Additionally, you'll manage the QA budget, lead talent development initiatives, and foster a proactive quality culture within the organization.
Your Profile
The suitable candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the manufacturing sector—8 of which should be in managerial roles, preferably within the medical devices and semiconductor industry. Importantly, the candidate should possess knowledge of wafer fabrication process.
A strong grasp of GMP standards, experience with QMS compliance, and proficiency in managing regulatory inspections are essential.
Candidates should be strategically minded with strong analytical and project management skills, capable of driving systemic improvements in quality. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities, combined with a commitment to talent development, are crucial. Knowledge of Lean methodologies and relevant certifications, such as ISO 13485 Lead Auditor, will be considered a significant advantage.
