Leadership & Delivery
- Lead and manage a technical team covering both network and cybersecurity domains
- Oversee vendor relationships and coordinate with external technology partners
- Plan, prioritize, and allocate workloads across team members and ongoing initiatives
- Drive end-to-end delivery of infrastructure-related projects
- Act as a mentor to team members and provide guidance across cross-functional teams
- Ensure incidents, service requests, and changes are managed within agreed SLAs
- Define and execute the roadmap for network and security capabilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for infrastructure security and networking
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Establish and maintain documentation standards and best practices
- Promote standardization and automation across infrastructure operations
Security Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage security controls to safeguard systems, data, and networks
- Participate in incident response activities and support investigations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security tools with vendors and partners
- Review and respond to escalated alerts from monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM/SOC)
- Strengthen cloud security governance and DevSecOps practices
- Proactively identify vulnerabilities, threats, and control gaps
- Conduct threat modelling and support risk-based security design
- Perform risk assessments across applications, SaaS platforms, and third-party environments
- Lead vulnerability management initiatives
Network Responsibilities
- Design and maintain network architecture across offices, data centres, and cloud environments
- Optimize network performance, reliability, and scalability
- Maintain up-to-date infrastructure diagrams and architecture documentation
- Oversee asset lifecycle and infrastructure inventory
- Document network configurations, policies, and procedures
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for network incidents and escalate when required
- Deliver network-related projects such as office setups and technology upgrades
Requirements (Must-Have)
- Proven experience managing teams across networking and cybersecurity functions
- At least 3 years of experience delivering projects from requirements gathering through to solution deployment
- Hands-on experience in incident response, threat detection, and investigation
- Strong knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, endpoint security, SIEM, WAF, IDS/IPS, and cloud security
- Experience designing secure cloud solutions, particularly within Microsoft Azure environments
- Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, and threat modelling methodologies
- Hands-on exposure to enterprise tools (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Zscaler, CrowdStrike, etc.)
Additional Skills
- Awareness of current cybersecurity trends and threat landscape
- Strong understanding of architecture design and implementation practices
- Solid networking knowledge (routing, switching, VPNs, wireless, high availability setups, etc.)
- Experience with Zero Trust and network segmentation principles
- Willingness to support after-hours incidents when required
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNP, CEH) are advantageous
