An established multinational manufacturing organization is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing technology advancement, and operational excellence within its production facility. This role will work closely with production, engineering, and cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance operational efficiency, manage improvement projects, and support technology-driven initiatives that contribute to the organization's long-term growth and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacturing Process Improvement: Analyze current manufacturing operations, identify process gaps, and lead improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Project Management & Execution: Plan, coordinate, and manage manufacturing improvement projects, ensuring timely delivery, effective implementation, and measurable business outcomes.
- Manufacturing Technology Development: Drive the adoption and implementation of manufacturing technologies, automation solutions, and engineering improvements to support operational excellence.
- Production & Engineering Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between production and engineering teams, translating operational challenges into practical engineering solutions.
- Asset Management & Investment Support: Support the development, utilization, and optimization of fixed assets while contributing to investment planning and capital improvement initiatives.
- Compliance & Quality Standards: Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable quality standards, specifications, safety requirements, and operational best practices.
- Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Analyze manufacturing data and workflows to identify opportunities for material flow optimization, process enhancements, and sustainable operational improvements.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Engineering Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Relevant Manufacturing Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, project management, process improvement, or related functions within an industrial setting.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, with exposure to areas such as automation, mechanical systems, electronics, software applications, or industrial engineering principles.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to assess complex situations, interpret operational data, and develop practical solutions that drive measurable improvements.
- Software & Communication Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CAD software; strong English communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
