Morgan Philips Group has partnered with a leading In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) company specialized in innovative diagnostic instruments. We are seeking a high-impact Regional Commercial Manager (IVD) to serve as the first dedicated headcount in the APAC region. This is a pioneering role designed for a strategic "hunter" who can drive existing channel partners while simultaneously identifying and opening new markets. As the regional lead, you will be the primary architect of the distributor network, translating technical product excellence into sustainable revenue growth across diverse Asia-Pacific territories.
What You'll Do
- Market Expansion & Entry: Research, identify, and onboard the key distributors by country and product line to increase sales in established territories and penetrate untapped markets.
- Strategic Channel Management: Lead the contracting process and manage the end-to-end relationship with distributors, serving as their primary point of contact and support lead.
- Sales Performance & Forecasting: Perform in-depth market analysis to establish budgets and maintain accurate rolling forecasts through rigorous sales monitoring.
- Field Engagement & Training: Conduct scheduled visits to distributors and their end-customers, while participating in and organizing specialized distributor training sessions.
- Regional Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the regional marketing team to propose and execute targeted actions, including roadshows, trade fairs, conferences, and promotional campaigns.
- Strategic Pricing & Positioning: Collaborate with global management to define pricing policies and promotional activities that align with regional market dynamics.
What You'll Bring (Requirements)
- Regional Expertise: Proven experience managing APAC markets specifically for an IVD or Medical Diagnostic portfolio.
- Pioneer Mindset: Experience being the first to lead, with a demonstrated ability to build a distributor network from the ground up.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong technical knowledge of diagnostic instruments; ability to discuss complex technical specifications with support from the engineering and technical teams.
- Commercial Acumen: A strong existing network within the APAC diagnostic space and a track record of driving significant sales revenue through third-party partners.
- Relationship Management: Exceptional skills in building trust-based, long-term relationships with international partners and stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to independently establish forecasts and budgets while navigating a complex regional matrix organization.
