Senior Data Engineer (Analytics)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced data professional to bridge the gap between data engineering and analytics. This role focuses on designing and maintaining scalable data models that enable high-quality analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, partnering closely with product, business, and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models for analytics and self-service use cases

• Develop high-quality data assets to support business, reporting, and regulatory needs

• Translate business requirements into effective technical data solutions

• Define and enforce data modelling standards, documentation, and testing practices

• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to data architecture decisions

• Identify opportunities to simplify data solutions and improve efficiency

• Mentor and guide engineers, setting high standards for data quality and engineering excellence

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in SQL and data modelling

• Experience with modern data transformation tools and data warehouse platforms

• Solid understanding of data engineering and software engineering best practices

• Experience implementing data quality, testing, and monitoring frameworks

• Ability to solve complex problems across both technical and business domains

• Strong communication skills and experience working with diverse stakeholders

Nice to Have

• Experience with metrics frameworks and data governance

• Exposure to AI/ML use cases in analytics
