Morgan Philips has been exclusively retained to support an expansion of our client's operations in Malaysia. The firm is a globally listed Tier-1 Investment Banking firm with more than 200,000 employees across 100 countries.
The priority hire is a Senior HRBP (new position). This role reports to the Regional HR Director, based in Singapore and will be a dotted-line partner to the Country Managing Director, managing the end-to-end people and culture agenda.
The role entails:
- Workforce Architecture: Design and scale a high-performance organizational structure that aligns headcount and specialized skill sets with regional growth targets.
- M&A & Integration: Lead people-centric due diligence and cultural harmonization to ensure seamless talent retention during regional acquisitions.
- Regulatory Navigation: Orchestrate HR policy compliance across diverse jurisdictions, ensuring employment contracts and incentives meet local financial standards.
- Cultural Localization: Adapt the institutional "DNA" and Employee Value Proposition to resonate with new regional markets while maintaining global brand integrity.
- Executive Talent Acquisition: Secure high-impact "anchor" hires and build a mobile leadership pipeline to establish immediate market credibility.
- Rewards and Performance Alignment: Re-engineer incentive structures to reward the specific KPIs required for successful market entry and cross-border collaboration.
- Change Leadership: Act as a strategic architect for organizational resilience, managing the friction and morale shifts inherent in rapid regional scaling.
