This role leads end‑to‑end demand and supply planning for a complex, fast‑moving commercial environment. The position partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver an objective, data‑driven forecast while balancing service levels, inventory health, and working capital to support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
End‑to‑End Demand & Supply Planning Leadership
Own and drive the integrated demand and supply planning process, ensuring a single aligned plan is used across functions to support accurate decision‑making and future business direction.
Forecast Governance & Accuracy Improvement
Lead cross‑functional forecast discussions, challenge assumptions, and continuously improve forecast accuracy through root‑cause analysis and actionable improvement plans.
S&OP Process Ownership
Facilitate structured consensus meetings and S&OP forums, ensuring alignment between commercial, supply chain, and operational teams with clear decisions and follow‑up actions.
Inventory Optimization & Replenishment Oversight
Set and manage inventory targets in line with business objectives, ensuring optimal availability while minimizing excess, obsolescence, and working capital pressure.
Promotions, New Product & Lifecycle Planning
Review promotional and new product forecasts, assess cannibalization and phase‑in/phase‑out risks, and challenge inputs to ensure realistic demand signals.
Performance Reporting & Insights
Provide transparent reporting on forecast accuracy, bias, service levels, and inventory performance, translating data into insights for senior leadership review.
People Leadership & Capability Development
Lead, coach, and develop a planning team, driving engagement, succession planning, and continuous capability improvement aligned with organizational standards.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Strong Demand and Supply Planning Expertise
Proven experience managing demand forecasting and supply planning in a high‑volume, fast‑paced consumer or industrial environment.
Relevant Academic and Leadership Background
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of planning experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a people management role.
Hands‑On S&OP Experience
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence S&OP processes, balancing commercial ambition with operational feasibility.
Advanced Analytical & Systems Capability
Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in planning and reporting tools; able to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication Skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively across internal and external partners.
