Overview
An established property development group is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead project implementation for high‑rise, landed, and industrial developments. This role oversees full project delivery—from planning to handover—ensuring timely completion, superior build quality, cost control, regulatory compliance, and effective stakeholder coordination.
Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project planning & execution
Drive the overall project delivery strategy, manage the master construction programme, and ensure all milestones are met within approved timelines and budgets. -
Ensure compliance, certification & billing accuracy
Oversee issuance of required certificates, monitor progressive billings, and ensure all works adhere to regulatory, architectural, and internal QA/QC standards. -
Coordinate across departments & external stakeholders
Work closely with consultants, authorities, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical, design, and regulatory issues affecting project progress. -
Oversee construction management & site operations
Track daily site activities, monitor manpower and resource allocation, review progress, and mitigate risks or delays across multiple project sites. -
Drive productivity, leadership & team capability
Lead and mentor site teams, monitor performance, optimise manpower deployment, and cultivate a high-performance culture focused on safety and accountability. -
Enforce quality assurance & defect management
Implement stringent quality controls, minimise non-conformance occurrences, and oversee rectification and handover processes to achieve client satisfaction. -
Manage reporting & project documentation
Provide regular updates on project progress, ROW status, quality findings, and financial metrics while ensuring accurate documentation and records.
Key Qualifications & Requirements

Extensive experience in property development & construction
Minimum 15 years' experience managing large-scale, complex developments, including high-rise projects, with proven capability in full project lifecycle leadership. -
Strong technical expertise & regulatory knowledge
Solid understanding of construction methodologies, M&E coordination, QA/QC standards, local authority requirements, and safety regulations. -
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
Capable of leading multidisciplinary teams, managing contractors and consultants, and navigating complex stakeholder environments. -
Strong project controls & risk management capabilities
Skilled in programme planning, budget monitoring, risk identification, and timely implementation of corrective measures to maintain schedule and cost targets. -
Proficiency in project planning tools
Familiar with systems such as MS Project or Primavera for effective monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
