Job Title: Franchise Head (Hong Kong)

Overview
We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Franchise Head to lead a defined product/franchise portfolio in Hong Kong. This role is responsible for shaping franchise strategy, driving performance against business objectives, and ensuring effective cross-functional execution across Medical, Market Access, Sales, Regulatory/Compliance, and Supply.
The successful candidate will be an experienced healthcare commercial leader who can translate market insights into actionable plans, build strong internal alignment, and ensure patient and stakeholder needs are met through a robust, compliant operating model.
Key Responsibilities

Franchise Strategy & Business Growth:
Develop and execute franchise business plans to achieve sales, market share, and other agreed performance targets in Hong Kong. -
Commercial Excellence & Execution:
Lead planning and execution of marketing/sales initiatives, ensuring alignment between priorities, resources, and measurable outcomes. -
Market & Competitive Intelligence:
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, demand signals, and stakeholder needs; translate insights into strategic adjustments and action plans. -
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Drive close collaboration across internal functions (e.g., Sales, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory/Compliance, Supply Chain, and other applicable teams) to ensure coherent execution. -
Lifecycle & Portfolio Management:
Support portfolio planning including new launch/indication strategies, growth levers, and lifecycle management activities as applicable. -
Stakeholder Management:
Ensure effective stakeholder engagement strategy, working with field teams and relevant internal experts to strengthen relationships with key healthcare stakeholders. -
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure franchise operations are delivered in full compliance with applicable regulations and internal ethical standards; proactively identify and manage business and operational risks. -
Team Leadership & Talent Development:
Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to the franchise team; support performance management and capability building.
Qualifications

Experience:
Typically 8+ years of experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical/biopharma commercial roles, with proven leadership experience and franchise/portfolio ownership (or equivalent). -
Business Leadership:
Track record of delivering business results (e.g., sales growth, share growth, launch milestones, access outcomes) in a regulated healthcare environment. -
Commercial Planning & Insights:
Strong market/competitive analysis skills and the ability to build practical strategies from data and stakeholder insights. -
Cross-Functional Influence:
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and partnership across multiple functions and senior stakeholders. -
Communication:
Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus). -
Compliance Mindset:
Strong understanding of compliance requirements and ethical standards in healthcare marketing and sales.
