For our client, an international logistics and delivery company, we are looking for an experienced person to take the position of:

Duties:
- Establish, structure, and lead an international Shared Services Center supporting accounting for 17+ countries (with further expansion planned)
- Take full ownership of end-to-end accounting operations (AP, AR, GL,
- Inventory/Materials, Controlling), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
- Standardize and optimize accounting processes across multiple entities in line with IFRS and Group accounting policies
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring strict adherence to deadlines and high-quality reporting
- Oversee preparation of consolidation packages and ensure full reconciliation of intercompany transactions
- Define and implement efficient document workflows and master data governance across all entities
- Lead cooperation with local outsourcing providers responsible for statutory accounting, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting
- Drive continuous improvement of accounting productivity through automation, robotization, and process simplification
- Implement controls, KPIs, and quality frameworks to monitor performance, minimize errors, and improve efficiency
- Build, manage, and develop a team of up to 50 professionals across key accounting functions
- Partner closely with Group Finance, business leaders, and country finance teams to ensure alignment and transparency
- Report on performance, risks, and quality metrics to the CFO function and senior leadership
- 7+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in SSC environments
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with reporting packages
- Proven track record in process transformation and standardization
- Experience in driving efficiency improvements (automation, optimization)
- Strong leadership and analytical skills
- Fluent English
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Background in audit/consulting, experience with MS Dynamics ERP would be considered an advantage
