For one of our international clients from the retail industry, we are currently looking for
Procurement & Logistics Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing: Source and buy technical and industrial components based on specifications from technical teams.
- Supplier Management: Engage with international suppliers (especially in Asia) to request quotes, place orders, and follow up on deliveries.
- Order Accuracy: Verify the correctness of references, quantities, prices, and delivery terms for purchased items.
- Logistics Coordination: Organize transport logistics using sea, road, or air freight as needed.
- Freight Management: Collaborate with freight forwarders and logistics partners to ensure smooth transport operations.
- Customs Handling: Manage import processes, including customs documentation, duties, and taxes.
- Shipment Tracking: Monitor shipments to guarantee on-time deliveries in accordance with production schedules.
- Data Maintenance: Keep procurement records up to date in the Optima ERP system.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Communicate and coordinate with production, technical, finance, and accounting teams.
Profile & Experience:
- Initial experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management for technical components.
- Exposure to international supplier interactions, particularly with suppliers in Asia, is a notable advantage.
- Highly organized with a structured and dependable work approach.
- Proficient with software and ERP systems; familiarity with Optima ERP is a significant plus.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
