An established Hong Kong-based company in the premium packaging and label sourcing sector is entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation, and is now looking for a General Manager to lead its operations in Hong Kong.

The opportunity
As General Manager, you will take full ownership of the Hong Kong office and play a key role in driving both day-to-day performance and longer-term strategic development. You will:

Oversee daily office and operational functions, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently from quotation through to delivery.

Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and customers, balancing cost, quality, and timelines to maintain a high standard of service.

Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of stock, keeping tight control over inventory and logistics flows.

Supervise the processing of invoices and purchase orders within the accounts system, safeguarding accuracy and compliance.

Maintain and continuously improve quality control procedures across all product categories.

Recruit, lead, and develop staff, creating a strong, collaborative team environment.

Work closely with the directors to implement business strategies, optimise processes, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, is comfortable making decisions, and thrives in a hands-on leadership position where their impact is both visible and measurable.
What you bring
To succeed in this role, you will likely bring:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the packaging, labelling, or closely related sector, with a proven track record in operations and team leadership.

Strong understanding of supply chain management, quality control, and customer relationship management within a manufacturing or sourcing environment.

Demonstrated leadership, organisational, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.

A proactive, resilient mindset and the agility to adapt to evolving business needs and strategies.

Relevant educational background, combined with hands-on experience managing diverse operational functions.

Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage and will help you build relationships across regional markets.
