At Morgan Philips Outsourcing, we are currently seeking for one of our clients, Thales Cybersecurity & Digital Identity, a global leader in digital security.
This client designs and deliver a wide range of products, software and services based on three core technologies: digital identification, data protection, and application security.
Job Objective
Own and lead the technical eSIM/eUICC interface with customers and global accounts, driving requirements, technical guidance, solution design and influencing specifications throughout the lifecycle of Thales eSIM solutions.
What will you do? As a eSIM Technical Consultant within Thales, you will:
- Provide in-depth eSIM technical pre-sales support to Sales teams, local customer teams (VLAs) and end customers.
- Analyze customer/global group requirements and translate them into precise technical specifications.
- Advise customers on the best Thales DIS solutions and ensure alignment across local/global stakeholders.
Project Management & Implementation
- Manage projects within the BAP process, writing and implementing technical specifications using internal tools and methodologies.
- Ensure clear, accurate documentation for internal and external teams.
- Oversee technical solution lifecycle from design to customer acceptance.
Post-sales Support & Troubleshooting
- Deliver advanced eSIM post-sales technical support including deep-dive analysis, debugging and incident resolution.
- Identify and resolve complex eUICC interoperability or implementation issues.
Customer Relationship & Technical Intimacy
- Communicate clearly and adapt quickly to diverse customer requirements.
- Build strong technical intimacy with customers by providing tailored, high-quality answers and guidance.
- Support local technical consultants working on VLA accounts.
Internal Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Educate, support and animate the network of local eTCs and consultants in various countries.
- Guide global and local sales teams to leverage existing Thales solutions and create efficiencies and synergies.
- Provide structured feedback to Product Marketing, R&D and Technical teams regarding customer requirements and market trends.
- Contribute to positioning existing or new eSIM/eUICC products.
Expertise & Training
- Deliver expert-level training and ad-hoc technical support to customers, VLAs and internal teams working on global products.
Technical Skills & Experience- Mandatory
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications.
- 10+ years of SIM/eSIM Technical Consulting experience.
- 10+ years in smart cards and wireless device technologies.
- Strong understanding of telecom access network environments: GSM, UMTS, CDMA, LTE, 5G.
- In-depth knowledge of standards: 3GPP, 3GPP2, GSMA.
- Strong command of RSP/eUICC Standards:
- SGP.02 (M2M)
- SGP.22 (Consumer eSIM)
- SGP.32 (IoT)
- Ability to explain complex standards and architectures clearly to customers.
- Ability to design innovative solutions for non-standard IoT eUICC use cases (CE doing M2M, M2M doing CE, hybrid solutions).
- Experience presenting technical features to business stakeholders.
Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory).
Preferred / Valuable
- Background in HSMs, software development, blockchain or related specialized fields.
- Strong innovation mindset and willingness to accompany customers in new eUICC/eSIM journeys.
