Fleet Procurement Specialist

At Morgan Philips Outsourcing we are looking for a Fleet Procurement Specialist for one of our clients, one of Europe’s leading low-cost airlines based in Barcelona, to support the airline's fleet transformation programme by coordinating procurement activities, managing supplier relationships, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of aircraft materials, components and operational requirements. The role also provides support in the coordination and monitoring of fleet standardization initiatives and related projects.
 

Tasks & Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Support purchasing activities related to aircraft materials, cabin interiors and technical components.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely follow-up of orders, deliveries and project requirements.
• Track supplier commitments and support procurement-related activities.
• Maintain records and traceability of materials, components and configuration selections.
• Prepare and manage supplier-related documentation, specifications and follow-up communications.
• Support interactions with Boeing and other external partners involved in the fleet transformation programme.

Stakeholder Management & Coordination

• Act as a key point of coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication between Operations, Procurement and other business areas involved in the programme.
• Prepare meeting materials, track actions and ensure proper follow-up of commitments.
• Ensure relevant information is shared and communicated efficiently between stakeholders.

Project Support

• Monitor project activities, milestones and deliverables.
• Prepare reports, presentations and project-related documentation.
• Support data analysis and follow-up activities to facilitate decision-making.
• Support the execution of fleet transformation and standardization initiatives.

Academic Background

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Additional education in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations or Project Management will be considered a plus.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations or Project Coordination in airline enviromets
• Experience interacting with suppliers and external stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating activities across different teams and stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in operational and fast-paced environments.
