This role will be responsible for defining and executing the franchise strategy, ensuring strong cross-functional alignment, and delivering sustainable growth while maximizing value for patients, healthcare professionals, and the organization.
The Franchise Head will lead a multidisciplinary team and collaborate closely with global and regional stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement the franchise strategy aligned with global and regional objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop long-term business plans.
- Drive innovation and differentiation in a competitive therapeutic landscape.
- Ensure strong execution of brand and portfolio strategies.
- Deliver sales, market share, and profitability targets.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and industry trends.
- Ensure alignment between commercial and medical strategy.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing franchise team.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture.
- Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare institutions, and external stakeholders.
- Represent the franchise internally and externally.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
Requierements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or related field.
- MBA or postgraduate degree is highly valued.
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong background in commercial & marketing leadership roles.
- Previous experience managing teams.
- Experience in cross-functional leadership.
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capabilities.
- Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
