We are looking for a Global Trade Marketing Specialist to join a FMCG company based in Madrid, Spain. You will play a key role in driving brand visibility, commercial excellence, and market execution across international regions, partnering closely with commercial and marketing teams to support strategic decision-making in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement global trade marketing strategies aligned with brand and commercial objectives.
- Build and execute annual channel activation plans across key markets to strengthen brand presence and consumer engagement.
- Analyze market, shopper, and channel performance to identify growth opportunities and support data-driven decision-making.
- Lead the development of trade toolkits, POS materials, and promotional guidelines ensuring global consistency and local adaptability.
- Collaborate with Regional and Local Marketing teams to ensure alignment on product launches, campaigns, and in-store executions.
- Monitor promotional effectiveness (ROI, sell-in/sell-out performance, pricing, visibility KPIs) and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Partner with Sales, Category Management, and Supply Chain teams to optimize product assortment, visibility, and merchandising strategies.
- Coordinate global best‑practice sharing and ensure the standardization of trade marketing processes across countries.
- Manage budgets related to trade activations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and optimal resource allocation.
Profile
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Overall, 10 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, or Category Management, ideally within FMCG or an international environment.
- Strong understanding of shopper behavior, retail environments, and channel dynamics (Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, E‑commerce).
- Experience developing and implementing trade marketing assets and activation plans.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market and channel performance data.
- Fluent in English; highly organized, creative, and business‑oriented with strong cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
