Job Title: Marketing Director

Location: Hong Kong

Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Marketing Director for a well-regarded lifestyle hospitality brand in Hong Kong. This senior leadership role owns the brand’s marketing strategy and execution across digital, brand, partnerships, events and customer engagement. The successful candidate will drive growth, strengthen brand equity, and lead a high-performing marketing function with a strong understanding of the local market, customer insights, and premium brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Leadership:
    Develop and own the annual marketing strategy, budget, and performance targets to support business goals (brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth).
  • Brand Building & Positioning:
    Strengthen brand identity and storytelling across all touchpoints; ensure consistent brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Campaign Planning & Execution:
    Lead integrated marketing campaigns (offline and online), including launches, seasonal promotions, collaborations and events.
  • Digital & CRM Growth:
    Oversee digital marketing performance (social media, website/landing pages, paid media where relevant) and CRM/loyalty engagement to improve conversion and repeat visits.
  • Content & Creative Direction:
    Partner with internal teams and external agencies to develop compelling content and creative assets; ensure high-quality execution.
  • Partnerships & Sponsorships:
    Identify and develop brand partnerships with corporates, media, lifestyle brands and influencers; manage sponsorship deliverables and ROI tracking.
  • Market & Customer Insights:
    Analyse customer behaviour, market trends, and competitor activities; use insights to refine targeting and campaign effectiveness.
  • Team & Vendor Management:
    Lead, mentor and manage marketing staff and coordinate with agencies/creative teams; ensure resources are effectively allocated.
  • Reporting & Performance Management:
    Track KPIs (e.g., reach, engagement, lead generation, conversion rates, customer return rate) and provide regular performance reporting and recommendations to senior management.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with Operations, Sales, Revenue/Reservations, Finance and Guest Experience teams to align marketing plans with on-the-ground capabilities and business priorities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 8–12 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior marketing leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in hospitality / lifestyle / F&B / retail premium brands in Hong Kong is highly desirable.
  • Digital Expertise: Strong command of digital marketing, social media strategy, CRM/loyalty marketing and campaign measurement.
  • Leadership & Stakeholder Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Communication: Excellent English and Cantonese communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Creative & Analytical Balance: Strong creative instincts with disciplined data-driven decision-making.
