About the Company

Our client is a prominent player in the retail fashion industry. They are currently seeking a Business Development/Leasing Manager to drive retail network expansion through strategic lease negotiations, landlord relationship management, space optimization, and real-time market reporting.

       
       Key Responsibilities

• Lease Strategy & Negotiation: Formulate and execute optimal commercial terms for new leases, renewals, and contract renegotiations.

• Network Expansion: Spearhead the search and acquisition of new retail locations and points of sale to support growth.

• Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with landlords and department stores to foster mutually beneficial business models.

• Contract & Legal Review: Review lease agreements and related legal documents, ensuring compliance and securing necessary management approvals.

• Space Optimization: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance shop locations, maximize productivity, and manage renovation costs effectively.

• Data & Reporting: Maintain a comprehensive real-time database of all retail locations and deliver strategic market reports for management review.

  Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in retail leasing, corporate real estate, or commercial management (retailer or landlord side).

• Core Competencies: Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with deep expertise in analyzing commercial terms and conditions.

• Industry Knowledge: Strong network within the retail or apparel sector and familiarity with key market players is highly advantageous.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
