At Morgan Philips, we are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join a fast‑growing international company. We are looking for a technically solid profile with experience in public accounting/audit and a strong track record in complex global corporate environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of global consolidated financial reporting and accounting analysis.
- Manage the accounting of complex and non‑recurring transactions (stock‑based compensation, acquisitions, impairments, R&D capitalization, equity accounting, financing, etc.).
- Lead the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Coordinate financial audits (consolidated and local), ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Strengthen and enhance Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
- Collaborate closely with the Tax team on global tax reporting, compliance, and cross‑border initiatives.
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes, automation, and organizational optimization.
- Participate in strategic initiatives such as M&A, due diligence, integrations, tax reviews, and special projects.
- Lead, develop and mentor a high‑performing global accounting and reporting team.
Profile Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Graduate Degree or Master’s in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA highly valued.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive accounting experience in complex, global environments.
- Mandatory: at least 3 years in public accounting/audit within a top-tier firm.
- Strongly valued: candidates coming directly from a Big Four.
- Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP; additional experience with IFRS or other European frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast‑paced, multicultural environments.
- Analytical, autonomous profile with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
