Sr. Embedded Software Engineer (AOSP)

What You Will Do

• Integrate and deploy ACR client libraries and software on Embedded Linux and Android TV systems

• Port software to new hardware platforms and support SoC bring-up

• Work with audio and video frameworks on Linux and Android

• Debug software issues, performance problems, and HW/SW integration bugs

• Analyze system performance and optimize for resource-limited embedded devices

• Participate in the evolution from ACR to on-device AI, including prototyping and implementing ML features

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on engineer who enjoys building and making things work

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Solid programming experience in C/C++ or Java

• Good understanding of operating system fundamentals

• Experience or familiarity with Linux (academic, personal, or work projects)

• Able to communicate clearly and work well in a team

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience with Android / Android TV / AOSP

• Interest in Machine Learning or AI, especially on-device ML

• Familiarity with embedded build tools (CMake, cross-compilers)

• Experience with Python or shell scripting

• Experience using Git or other version control systems
