Morgan Philips Executive Search is looking for an Operations Director for an International leader in sterile packaging solutions for the Life Sciences industry, with global presence and strong focus on quality, innovation, and regulatory compliance.
To direct and ensure the efficiency, quality, and profitability of all planning, logistics, and production processes, optimizing resources, leading teams, and aligning daily operations with the company’s strategic objectives.
This role will be responsible for building a robust, efficient, and scalable operational structure while ensuring compliance with medical device regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead a strong zero-accident and safety-first culture.
- Direct production, planning, and logistics processes to ensure operational excellence and optimal equipment performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives under Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or equivalent methodologies.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards within the medical device industry.
- Oversee nationwide operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the full supply chain and guarantee optimal material flow.
- Define, implement, and monitor strategic KPIs.
- Prepare and manage the Operations budget, including CAPEX planning.
- Optimize P&L performance through cost control and manufacturing efficiency.
- Oversee raw material and finished goods inventory management.
- Improve cash flow through operational excellence and inventory optimization.
- Ensure effective cross-functional communication to achieve company objectives.
- Implement and comply with the Group’s CSR policy.
- Minimum 5–10 years of senior operational leadership experience in industrial environments.
- Proven background in manufacturing (plant management, production processes, quality management).
- Experience within the packaging industry.
- Experience in medical device manufacturing and strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Solid experience managing operational budgets and CAPEX.
- Strong leadership skills with focus on team development.
- Data-driven decision-making mindset with strong analytical capabilities.
- Fluent English (mandatory).
