Finance Director

At Morgan Philips Executive Search, we are looking for a Finance Director in Ecatepec, Estado de Mexico. Our client is an international company from the manufacturing sector (packaging industry). 

📊 What you’ll do

• Reporting to the GM - the Finance Director is working closely together with all other departments within the Mexico company, as well as with the Group CFO and his team.
• Designing key tools & analysis operationally implemented by his/her team, the Finance Director is responsible for Cost controlling, inter-company reporting & statutory accounting as well as for Treasury & Compliance with local regulations. He/she is the project owner of the budgeting process and is involved in CAPEX and commercial negotiations (pricing).
• Manage company cash flow of the business and continuously look for improvement opportunities
• Have a clear understanding of and adhere to current applicable laws and regulations
• develop and drive a team of one controller, one accountant and one IT Manager and is in charge of the timely submission and the accuracy of requested outputs.
•  He/she shall serve as the main link to the local authorities, the auditor and the bank.

• Proven experience in financial & cost controlling of a manufacturing organization within an international context  
• Problem solver, analytical thinker, and decision-make
• Hands-on, solution-driven, analytical mindset, eagle-eyed, disciplined, independent and accurate
• Strong communicative team player and good co-operator
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and delegate responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner
• Outstanding integrity, solid moral judgment, and the ability to make important decisions under pressure
• Very good knowledge of English
• Solution-oriented, able to work both autonomously and in a team
• Experience with IFRS
• Previous exposure to ERP system (SAP or other)
