Responsibilities:
- Identify training needs and suggest training programme for mining and geology staff.
- Management of direct reports, including leadership, succession planning, hiring, training, coaching, communication, organizational development (structure and process), personal development, etc. in cooperation with HR manager
- Efficiently operate mines within budget (CoGS deviation, production costs, purchasing costs…)
- Guarantee the raw material supply to the plants (quantity and quality) keeping safety raw material stocks at the plants.
- Apply the mining development plan and follow up in detail taking into account budget, security, environment and quality aspects.
- Establish good contacts with the local and central authorities regarding the mining rights (present operation and extension targets)
- Make good relationship with local villagers and governments for long term operation.
- Assume responsibility for QSHE compliance (mandatory & Corporate policies), ensuring that measures are consistent with company policies.
- Manage with open communication and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Acquire mine related licenses and certificates.
- Evaluation of mines with accurate mine survey report
- Bachelor or Master of Science (specialized in mining engineering or geology)
- 10 or more years of experience in mining operation management
- Ability or experience to manage projects and drive to completion
- Excellent ability for planning, development and implementation of Operations strategies & Business plans
- People Management skills, organizational skill
- Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, social competence and strong team player
- Ability to find solutions, proactive problem solver, result oriented
- Fluent in English
- Ready to travel extensively within the Area and occasionally beyond
