At Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment, we are currently seeking a Professional Affairs Advisor for a leading multinational company specialized in vision care, based in Mexico City with a global reach.
This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that positively influence the prescribing habits of Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) through continuous engagement and education.
The position will work closely with internal teams, including Marketing, Sales, Key Accounts, and Finance, as well as with a broad range of customers, to promote the brand and the contact lens category among ECPs and their staff, with the objective of achieving revenue targets.
Additionally, this role will contribute to elevating the company’s professional profile within the optical industry and strengthening its position on key issues in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a clear strategy for Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs): identify, engage, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and brand advocates to support the delivery of key messages and educational initiatives, increasing presence and share of voice within the professional community.
Collaborate with Commercial, Key Accounts, and Marketing teams to support the development of professional and product strategies for specific key accounts.
Design, develop, and lead the Professional Services organization in Mexico, ensuring alignment with business priorities and influencing prescribing behaviors nationwide.
Integrate Professional Affairs as a core pillar within the Marketing organization, working closely with Sales and Key Account teams.
Act as the main spokesperson for the professional community through publications, congress presentations, and educational platforms.
Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with industry associations, academic institutions, research groups, business owners, senior leadership, key accounts, and KOLs.
Requirements
5–8 years of experience in the optical or vision care industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Optometry (required).
Strong commercial acumen and excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience working in multinational companies.
Proven track record managing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and professional associations.
